the whole Course or any portion thoroof, and the

Correspondent shall thereupon be required to

modify it accordingly.

The courses of study in English Schools

shall lead up to the Hong Kong School Certificate

Examination in Class 2 and all pupils in Class 2

In Class 1 there shall be a course approved

by the Director preparatory to entrance to the

University of Hong Kong, or to a British or Chinoso

University.

Two or more Courses may be taken by one

school, provided that it is shown to the satis-

faction of the Director that there is sufficient

staff and equipment to provide adequately for such

a differentiation of studies.

or Portuguese shall be taught to any class without

the previous approval of the Director.

In all schools admitting Chinese pupils,

adequate provision shall be made for giving

instruction in Chinese language and literature.

All Chinese pupils in Class 2 are required to
